Bentley
BENTLEY SPEED SIX

The car that won Le Mans in '29 and '30, with 160bhp, twin vertical SUs, straight-sided radiators, green label badges and a choice of C- or D-type 'boxes. Last ones with large capacity elektron sumps. Considered by some to be W.O's greatest Bentley, but long chassis (1421/2ins) is very long, thirst is formidable and too many have been butchered down the years. Even saloons should, however, top 90mph.
