2-door saloon, 4-door 4-seater saloon, 2-door estate.
Direct Replacement for the successful 1100/1300 range, with more rounded styling, anything but attractive, and hydragas instead of hydrolytic suspension. notorious at first for quartic steering wheel profile (rectified by mid-seventies). Usual A-series engine/transmission in sump front-drive layout, thought issigonis not involved. Estate body only with 1300 engine, and automatic ditto.1100 replaced by 100 after 1980. Effectively displaced by new-generation Masestro - thank goodness!
